AI Based Portable ECG Monitoring System With Automatic Arrhythmia Detection Using Deep Learning

INTRODUCTION: In the current generation, heart problems are the leading cause of death and this project provides an effective solution for it. Abnormal heart rhythms, known as arrhythmia, can be easily detected using sensors. In conventional hospital ECG machines, electrode placement causes high signal noise and skin irritation to patients. To overcome these issues, this AI-based portable system is proposed, where a sensor placed on the chest can efficiently monitor heartbeats and identify cardiac diseases. Need for AI in healthcare system At present, there is a huge need for this type of portable ECG system in the healthcare sector. Most rural hospitals do not have expensive 12-lead ECG machines and there are no cardiologists available, so patients don't get diagnosed on time. For ICU patients and old age people at home, continuous heart monitoring is very important to find arrhythmia early and avoid sudden death. So we need a low-cost and portable device which can check a heart...

Organic Farming: A Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Approach to Agriculture

ABSTRACT: By preserving soil organic matter and promoting beneficial microorganisms, organic farming helps improve soil structure, water-holding capacity, and long-term land productivity. In addition to environmental benefits, organic farming supports human health and rural livelihoods by producing safe, chemical-free food and reducing farmers' dependence on expensive external inputs. It also promotes biodiversity, conserves natural resources, and minimizes pollution of soil and water bodies. Organic farming offers a sustainable alternative to conventional agriculture and is essential to attaining food security, ecological balance, and sustainable agricultural development, despite potential drawbacks including lower initial yields and increased labour requirements. INTRODUCTION: Using natural processes, biodiversity, and ecological balance instead of artificial fertilizers, pesticides, genetically modified organisms, or growth regulators, organic farming is a sustainable agricult...

Augmented Reality in Education: Making Learning More Visual

Description Students learn in different ways, and some topics are difficult to understand through words and static diagrams alone. Augmented reality, or AR, provides one possible way to make learning more visual. It places digital information over the user's view of the physical environment, allowing real and digital elements to appear together. A simple example is a three-dimensional model. Instead of looking at a flat picture of an engineering component, a student can view a digital model and examine its different sides. This can make the relationship between parts easier to understand. Science education can also benefit from AR. Students may explore models of molecules, biological structures or physical systems. A teacher can use such models to support an explanation, while students can interact with the representation rather than only observing it. Figure 1: Illustrative view related to Augmented Reality in Education AR can be useful in practical training as well. Digital ins...

EV Battery Thermal Management: Keeping Electric Vehicles Safe and Efficient

Introduction The battery is the heart of an electric vehicle, and its performance strongly depends on temperature. Excessive heat can reduce battery life and affect safety, while very low temperatures can reduce power output and charging performance. EV Battery Thermal Management is therefore essential for maintaining battery temperature within a suitable operating range. It improves battery efficiency, durability, charging performance, and overall vehicle reliability. Why Battery Thermal Management is Important During charging, discharging, and high-power operation, lithium-ion batteries generate heat. If this heat is not controlled properly, it can lead to: Reduced battery efficiency Faster battery degradation Uneven cell temperatures Reduced driving range Slower charging capability Safety concerns Thermal runaway under severe fault conditions An effective Battery Thermal Management System, or BTMS , removes excess heat and also provides heating when the battery operates in cold env...

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: MAKING LIFE SMARTER EVERY DAY

Description: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming an important part of our everyday lives. Many people think AI is only used in chatbots or voice assistants, but it is used in many other areas. From using mobile apps to shopping online, AI helps make our daily activities easier, faster, and smarter. In healthcare, AI helps doctors identify diseases at an early stage by studying medical reports and images. It also supports researchers in finding new medicines and improving treatments. As a result, patients can receive better and faster healthcare services. Education is also changing because of AI. Online learning platforms can understand how students learn and provide lessons that match their needs. AI-powered tools help students practice difficult topics, while teachers can spend more time teaching because routine tasks are automated. AI has improved transportation as well. Navigation apps suggest the best routes by checking traffic conditions in real time. Many moder...

AI-Powered Digital Twins Revolutionizing Structural Health Monitoring

Introduction Buildings, bridges, and other civil infrastructure are exposed to ageing, environmental conditions, heavy loads, and unexpected damage. Traditional Structural Health Monitoring mainly depends on periodic inspections and sensor data. However, continuous monitoring is becoming increasingly important for maintaining structural safety. AI-powered Digital Twins provide a smarter approach by creating a continuously updated virtual representation of a physical structure. This technology combines real-time data, sensors, and Artificial Intelligence to help engineers understand structural behaviour and identify possible problems at an earlier stage. AI-powered Digital Twin showing a real bridge connected to a virtual structural model Evolution of Structural Health Monitoring Traditional structural monitoring mainly relied on visual inspections and periodic measurements to identify damage. Later, sensors were introduced to measure vibration, strain, displacement, and temp...
