    It has become an integral part of modern society, particularly among young people (Students). It is a social networking technology that allows people to communicate with each other. It’s estimated that two billion around the globe use the internet ;one billion are using social media, there are many applications:

        It helps you easily connect with your family, friends around the world. We can get information in seconds. Even in business, companies use social media to advertise and connect with the customers. It allows people to share their skills. In social media also people get job opportunities.
        You learn things on social media. Join groups to discuss topics of interest. It gives a lot of entertainment through videos, memes, games and live streams Cost effective way for businesses to reach your wide audience. In connectivity and communications we use several applications like connecting with others, sharing content, opinion, news, focus on visual content, private communication, media sharing and knowledge on specific topics or an issues.
        Social media provides an effective way to promote your business like attracting new customers, selling your product, keeping an eye on your competitors and building trust in your brand. In education also Universities, Colleges, Schools are using social media to help students, teachers and parents to get information, connect with others and learn about different education systems.
        In social media introducing artificial intelligence (AI) is the important part. Social media engages students in learning and provide Richer Experience. It is a digital technology that allows text and visual throw networks and communities. Social media helps students to develop communicative skills.

Negative impacts of social media :

        Social media may be an addiction. People who spend too much on social media may neglect their studies, relationships and health. Social media is the major distraction for students. Social media impact on students leading to mental health less are in Depression and Anxiety and even Suicide.
        It can promote unrealistic beauty standards leading to body shaming issues. On social media news is entertainment.
        The most harmful effect of social media is that sleep problems may lead to health issues. It leads to negative impact on mental health, online harassment and decreasing productivity. The most serious dangerous social media is considered as an Anxiety and depression. The high usage of social media for students affects the academic performance and their grades.
        Social media has been used to organize social moments and amplify voice against harassment , issues and political discourse. Social media can create an environment of concept which can lead to feeling of low-esteem and sufficiency of being good.
